Return to Rhythm

You don’t have to get your period back on your own.

Return to Rhythm is my 12-week coaching programme for driven women who want their natural cycle back. It’s not just what to change, but how to keep going when every part of you wants to do the opposite.

Is it for you?

Return to Rhythm is built for hypothalamic amenorrhoea (HA, also spelled amenorrhea), when under-eating, training or stress have switched your period off.

It’s probably for you if:

  • you’ve seen your doctor, and under-eating, over-training or high stress seem to be playing into it
  • you’re driven and used to pushing and optimising, and ready to try a different approach
  • you are open to being uncomfortable and creating a new norm for yourself, your mind and body. One that will eventually serve you in areas other than just getting your period back
  • you want your cycle back, whether you’re planning a baby or just want your health back

It’s probably not for you if:

  • you’ve never seen a doctor about your missing period and don’t plan to (please start there, or see them alongside working with me)
  • you want a diagnosis or a fertility treatment plan
  • you’re not ready to work on yourself in a way you never have before (this isn’t about more striving, optimising and pushing yourself)
  • food or exercise feel out of your control, or you’re living with an eating disorder. You deserve specialist support, such as EDANZ in New Zealand or the Butterfly Foundation in Australia

How the 12 weeks work

Weeks 1 to 4

Fuel and rest

Regular meals and snacks, easing off intense training, and protecting your sleep.

Weeks 5 to 8

The hard middle

The mental side: working through fear around food, rest and body changes, and handling other people’s comments (and your own in your head).

Weeks 9 to 12

Reading your body

Spotting the signs your cycle is returning, and making a plan to keep it, as well as helping your body get into a regular rhythm again.

What’s included

  • A 75-minute kickoff call to look at where you are and plan your first steps
  • Weekly 60-minute calls on Google Meet for the first month, then fortnightly
  • Messaging support on weekdays, between calls
  • All my templates
  • Support that works alongside your doctor (not instead of them)

Founding spots

It’s US$420 per month with a three-month commitment.

If you pay in full, I’ll give you US$60 off (US$1,200 paid up front).

I’m opening four founding spots at this price, in exchange for honest feedback and a testimonial at the end. Prices are in US dollars.

How to start

  1. Book a free 30-minute call on Google Meet.
  2. We’ll talk about where your cycle is currently at, what you’ve tried and what’s held you back. If the programme is a good fit, I’ll explain how it works; if it isn’t, I’ll tell you too, and point you to something that is.
  3. If you’d like to go ahead, I’ll send you the coaching agreement and a payment link.
  4. Once you’ve signed and paid, you’ll get a welcome email and a short intake form, and we’ll book your kickoff call.

Questions women often ask

Do I have to stop exercising?

Not necessarily. This is really individual so we have to find a path that works for you. In the first weeks we ease off intense training and swap some of it for gentler movement, like walking. Stopping completely didn’t work for me, so we’ll find a middle path that suits you.

Will I have to count calories or weigh myself?

No! We focus on eating enough, regularly, and on how you feel, not on numbers.

Will my body change?

It might. Many women worry about this, and it’s one of the main things we work through in weeks 5 to 8, at your pace. I will say this though: I was worried about this myself, but now am at a place where my weight or how my body looks never even enters my mind. It’s just not something I think about – ever. This freedom alone was worth all the work (mentally and physically) it took to get here. True mental peace.

Do I need to see a doctor first?

Please do. Coaching works alongside medical care, not instead of it. If you haven’t seen your doctor yet, you can still book a call, and I’ll ask you to see them alongside coaching. I want to make sure we’re really dealing with HA and nothing more serious.

How soon will my period come back?

I can’t promise a date, because every body is different. Mine came back once I found a middle path, and my cycle was regular within a year or two. The 12 weeks give you the changes, the support and the know-how to keep going after we finish. If you’d like more support after the 12 weeks, there’s a way for us to keep working together, and we can talk about it nearer the end.

I’m on the pill. Can I still join?

Yes, and we can talk it through on the call. While you’re on the pill, the bleed you get is a withdrawal bleed, not a period, so it’s hard to tell what your own cycle is doing. Whether and when to stop is a decision for you and your doctor. I can help you get clarity on the call.

I don’t live in New Zealand. Can I still work with you?

Yes, absolutely. Everything happens online, and the booking calendar shows times in your own time zone. Prices are in US dollars.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes: three payments of US$420 for a three-month commitment.

What if I need to cancel or move a call?

Let me know at least 24 hours before, and I’ll find you another time. Calls cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed, count as used. The full details, including refunds, are in the coaching agreement you’ll see before you pay.
